Our eco-friendly approach

Every year, 10 billion items of clothing are sold worldwide. The textile industry is the second most polluting industry in the world. With this in mind, Sun City has taken steps to regulate its impact on the environment. Today, we are OEKO TEX, OCS, GOTS and GRS certified. We are also able to produce collections in organically grown cotton, recycled polyester and reclaimed cotton.

The quality of our products is ensured by a meticulous selection of the best factories, complying with current standards and covering all materials. The Oeko-Tex standard guarantees that fabrics do not contain chemicals harmful to health (pesticides, dyes, etc.).

Nous avons opté pour le coton bio en raison de ses différentes vertus :

We opted for organic cotton because of its various virtues:

– 20x less water used for an organic cotton t-shirt than for a “classic” cotton t-shirt.
– Pesticide-, fertilizer- and GMO-free production, preserving the health of producers, consumers and our soils.
– Particularly strong fibers, for robust, long-lasting garments.

Regenerated cotton is made from cotton scraps and recycled plastic bottles for polyester yarn. It allows fibers to be reused rather than discarded.

Polyester can be recycled from textile production offcuts, used clothing and plastic bottles. This process reduces waste, air, water and soil pollution.

Product quality is ensured by meticulous selection of the best factories, in compliance with current European standards (Oeko Tex or audit-approved). To meet these high quality standards, Sun-City has been present in Asia since 1994 (in Shanghai, China and Dhaka, Bangladesh).

In addition to our products, we also take action on the packaging and printed elements that surround our products. As part of this approach, we have several certifications to guarantee that our packaging uses only FSC-certified fibers, and that we use only Imprim’ vert-approved suppliers, or the PEFC label, which guarantees the use of responsible sources and sustainable forest management.
